Home care organiser coordinates the team of paid workers who will care for the person at home.
They are responsible for arranging health and safety checks on the environment the workers will be using in your home.
They will discuss with you the package of care needs and any changes to the care. They will also be able to advise you of any tasks which their care workers will not do. In some areas they may suggest a combination of local authority carers and agency carers approved by the local authority if the package of care required is large. Any financial contributions you or the person may have to contribute should be discussed with you at the time of the care needs assessment.
